नन्हे कदम लेकर आये थे हम, किलकारियों का शोर लेकर आये थे हम,
अनजानापन, मासूमियत, और खुदा का नूर लेकर आये थे हम |
देखा यहाँ तो हर पल हे बदलता मौसम ,बांटी थोड़ी खुशियाँ , पिए थोड़े गम
ये तो हे ज़रूर किसीकी दुवाओं का दम , वीरानियों के मंज़र में मिले आप और हम |
मलाल तो बस इसी बात का रह गया , की जी भरकर आपको बतिया भी न सके हम ,
ये सैलाब जो उमडा था रूह में , उसे दिल-ओ-जान से बहा भी न सके हम |
यू तो अपने सीने में लिए फिरते हे प्यार का दरिया ,
बावजूद इसके आपकी की प्यास भी बुझा न सके हम |
प्यास के तो किया कहने हे , उसकी तो अपनी ही एक कशिश हे ,
आपके चले जाने की , अब हमे न कोई रंजिश हे ,
लेकिन मर-जायेंगे मिट-जायेंगे अगर आपकी यादे-ए-आशियाँ में एक घरौंदा भी बना न सके हम |
अब तो हुवा हे ये मंज़र , बड़े हो गए हे पैर ,

Gate 2011 update...
Hi,
GATE 2011 notification is out. Sale of Application forms will commence 21st September.
The pattern of questions remains the same, as well as the marks. We have 65 Questions, 100 marks,
Two more papers have moved online this time, so we have MN, TF, AE and GG online.
One more change -In GATE 2011, the OFFLINE examination will be conducted in two sessions on Sunday, February 13, 2011. The OFFLINE examination in AR, BT, CE, CH, CS, ME, PH and PI papers will be held in the forenoon session from 09.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs. The OFFLINE examination in AG, CY, EC, EE, IN, MA, MT, XE and XL will be held in the afternoon session from 14.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs.

Pattern :There will be a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks.
Q.1 to Q.25 (25 questions) carry one mark each (sub-total 25 marks). Q.26 to Q.55 (30 questions) carry two marks each (sub-total 60 marks). Questions Q.56 - Q.65 belong to General Aptitude (GA). Questions Q.56 - Q.60 (5 questions) carry 1 mark each (sub-total 5 marks) and questions Q.61 - Q.65 (5 questions) carry 2-marks each (sub-total 10 marks).
Questions Q.48 - Q.51 (2 pairs) are common data questions. and Qquestion pairs (Q.52, Q.53) and (Q.54, Q.55) are linked answer questions. The answer to the second question of the linked answer questions depends on the answer to the first question of the pair. If the first question in the linked pair is wrongly answered or is unattempted, then the answer to the second question in the pair will not be evaluated.
